Academic/industry specialist: Eligibility Criteria

Are you eligible?

To be an eligible academic/industry specialist, you must:
  • Be a current employee of a research institute, university or college or a current employee of an industry specialist firm.
    • If you are an industry specialist firm, it is desirable to have a working relationship with a 3rd level academic institute on business project collaboration.
  • Have a minimum qualification level – Degree/Hons Degree or above or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in area of specialism.
  • Have project experience working with businesses.
  • Be available and commit to the terms and time required to support the programme requirements.
  • Give permission to share details with collaborating business.

Desirable

  • Research Experience.
  • Working Industry Experience.
  • Prior project work with InterTradeIreland.
